GOP sends out their obligatory 'thoughts and prayers' to Florida; nothing else
Once again, another deadly massacre at a school - for those keeping score this ranks third deadliest behind Columbine and Sandy Hook - and once again, the GOP is offering up 'thoughts and prayers' to the victims, their families and the community.
"Thoughts and prayers" - that is what people offer each other each day as their loved ones go off to school, to work, to play so they have a productive day and return to their loved ones safe at the end of their day.
What the GOP should be offering these families are tougher gun control laws, tougher gun restrictions, and now much safer schools (as safe as T-rump Towers or Mar-a-Lago, for starters).
Yet the GOP and T-rump won't budge on gun control because they're owned by the NRA as everyone knows by now. They want the millions of dollars to continuously flow to their election and re-election campaigns? They need the NRA - and to keep the NRA on their side, they need to appease them every step of the way.
That means by offering 'thoughts and prayers' to families - and little else.
