I know people who voted for Trump did so in spite of his many flaws. So I’m guessing his supporters don’t care about this latest development.

I’m curious though, do Trump supporters at least acknowledge that Trump’s lawyer Cohen paid Stormy Daniels $130k to keep quiet about the affair she had with Trump in ‘06? Or is this fake news to them. Because Cohen admitted to paying her and claimed it was out of his own pocket because he would do anything to protect his client and that just because a story isn’t true doesn’t mean it can’t still be damaging.

If you support than man and his policies that’s one thing, but you don’t also have to be gullible and believe all the lies.

I would have more respect for Trump supporters if they said yeah Trump had an affair, him and his administration lie all the time to deflect a hostile media, so what, his policies are making America great again. At least admit you know you are being lied a great deal about many things (not all things).

His lawyer seems to have some carefully chosen words (as lawyers often do). Notice he never outright says Stormy Daniels was lying, just that the payment wasn't an admission that it was true. I suspect if he outright called her a liar, it would void whatever non-disclosure agreement they may have and she'd be free to tell her story in full. If I'm Trump I have no idea what the best move would be. Admit it and put it behind you or just ignore it and hope it dies down when the media latches on to the next flavor of the day from the Trump White House. We all know it won't be long before something else ridiculous happens lol

From the article: In a subsequent statement texted to Yahoo News, Cohen suggested that the money was not an admission that Daniels’ claims were true and described the payment as a product of his fierce loyalty to the president.

“Just because something isn’t true doesn’t mean that it can’t cause you harm or damage,” Cohen said. “I will always protect Mr. Trump,”

Oh I'm under no impression that this would even come close to bringing down Trump's presidency. But as someone that just doesn't like Donald Trump I find it funny that even hush money paid to a porn star seemed to be handled incompetently.

And whatever she says, the Rethuglikkans are going to say it's part of a 'smear campaign' against T-rump, in which the FBI, DoJ, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama 'colluded' with the Russians.
