I think he should just go to a Veteran's Day parade and honor the deceased soldiers on Memorial Day.

Most American military parades were just celebrating the end of a war which is different from a dictator showing off hardware. Trump appears to just want to show-off hardware.

Both Eisenhower and Kennedy were in the military and considered war heroes so that could explain the reason for the military aspect. Technically, their parades were inauguration parades.

He likes soldiers who "win"
