FOX leads the 2018 noms for Trump's 'Fake News' Awards

Just three weeks into the new year, and FOX NEWS has nabbed themselves two nominations for "outstanding fake news performance" category in T-rump's end-of-the -year 'fake news' awards.

At the 9:00 hour on Thursday night, as all the cable news shows were breaking in with the NYT report that T-rump wanted Mueller fired in mid-June, but WH counsel McGhan threatened to quit if he did that, FOX's "Hannity" claimed it was fake news.

Said professional T-rump ass kisser Hannity to his 3M viewers 'the Times' was “trying to distract you.” He reassured his audience that he had checked in with “many of his sources.” He told his viewers that “They’re not confirming that tonight.”

Towards the end of the show he said, “So we have sources tonight just confirming ... that, yeah, maybe Donald Trump wanted to fire the special counsel for conflict.” He was referring to his FOX colleague Ed Henry, who confirmed the story for his employer FOX NEWS.

Trying to distance himself from the fake news debacle he created, he ended the 'correction' with "You know, we’ll deal with this tomorrow night,” as any respected journalist would do - no? LOL

Eight hours later, T-rump's defense team on "FOX & Friends" picked up where Hannity wished he left off, as Steve Doocey held up the day's NYT and joked, “apparently, the president of the United States wanted to fire Robert Mueller.”

Co-host Pete Hegseth added "“But the president, in Davos, he doesn’t think the story was all that true, maybe calling it fake,” as he cut to a clip of T-rump calling it fake news to reporters' questions in Davos.

Hegsworth dismissed the NYT story as just a “typical New York Times” story given that “all of this reporting is based on four people who are told of the matter.” He added, “It also screams of a leak from the special counsel” and suggested that details in the story “may or not be true.”

“All right, well, the president says it's fake news,” said host Ainsley Earhardt. “That happened last June. Do you—it’s something we have to tell you have about because it is a headline on The New York Times. What do you think about that? Do you even care?”

So if it's true, it happened seven months ago - so who cares? Back to Hillary's Benghazeeee schandal...

Polish up those awards, Mr. T-rump! We have four hosts who just won them.

I love the video that shows after "deal with it tomorrow night" that Hannity immediately switched to that recent viral car crash video.

Talk about distracting people...

Although I wonder if Hannity noticed the irony of his show becoming a train wreck and then showing a car wreck.

He really is a 'loser' who is full of self- importance.

Gee, sounds like someone in the White House as well as our own Snags on this forum. LOL
