20 years ago today...

20 years ago today, President Bill Clinton said those infamous words "I have never had sex with that woman" which eventually rocked his Presidency, and a vote for impeachment. A four year 'special investigation' which started with the "Whitewater" scandal (and proved nothing) ended with Clinton lying about sex with Monica Lewinsky.

Yet that was 20 years ago, when Clinton let special investigator Ken Starr do his work for the American people, and Clinton carried on his daily work as President as well. He didn't fire Starr, he didn't threaten to fire Starr, he didn't insult him or his team, he didn't rip apart the FBI, or the CIA, or have his White House staff lie for him - did nothing like that for four years, just let history take it's course.

WOW - what a difference 20 years make. Now we have T-rump, and the country is in chaos.
