London says T-rump got their message: You're not welcome here!

After calling Haiti and African nations 'shitholes' at a bi-partisan meeting in the White House on Thursday, T-rump decided to cancel his upcoming visit to open the new billion-dollar embassy in London. In a tweet, he blamed Obama:

"Reason I canceled my trip to London is that I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for 'peanuts,' only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars. Bad deal. Wanted me to cut ribbon-NO!"

This brought a gut-crunching round of laughter from both sides of the pond, as everyone knows that it was the Bush administration who secured that 'peanuts' deal - Obama had nothing to do with it at all. It was a done deal before he took Office in 2009.

To set the record straight, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said the real reason T-rump cancelled the trip is because he is not welcome there - and T-rump's heard the message loud and clear.

"President Trump got the message from the many Londoners who love and admire America and Americans but find his policies and action the polar opposite of our city's values," Tweeted Khan.

Khan said T-rump would have been met with peaceful protests throughout the city, as more than 1.8M signed a petition to 'stop Trump from making a state visit'.

Khan explained in another Tweet:

"Many Londoners have made it clear that Donald Trump is not welcome here while he is pursuing such a divisive agenda. It seems he's finally got that message. This reinforces what a mistake it was for Theresa May to rush and extend an invitation of a state visit in the first place."
