Cries about NFL players kneeling but mocks POW's

How do his supporters defend that? They act like he's so supportive of the military, yet when John McCain criticized him, his first reaction was to mock him for being a POW, held captive and tortured for five years. He also said he only likes people who don't get caught, insinuating he doesn't like any soldier who's been a POW.

Can anyone actually defend him on this? Kneeling is evil, but mocking soldiers who are held prisoner is cool?

Well he did say "he was a hero because he was captured...I like people that weren't captured." I guess I'm confused how you wouldn't consider that mocking him for being a POW?

He did mock John McCain, and by saying, "I like people who don't get caught", I'd call that insulting to every POW.
