Okay, there is a rumour that Trump cut down our ''trade'' - I'm seeing less and less Americans products and goods in the grocery store. Things like imported watermelon from the U.S have all but disappeared.

Why would he be doing this to us? and what is up with hatred of Canadian dairy products?

I don't understand. Canada and the U.S have always had a peaceful relationship, Trump seems to be trying to tamper with this as well as relations with other countries. His revision of NAFTA really screws us too, we give an enormous amount of oil, water and lumber to the United States and Trump seems to want us to get little profit.

As an American, I must apologize for our (P)resident idiots' behaviour. He doesn't represent the vast majority of us. I am personally, and quite deeply, ashamed of him. I have no answers for his actions.

And as an American, I would like to apologize to the USA for old Dumbo Ears', and all the damage he did to this country in only eight years. Fortunately President Trump is reversing that damage.

BTW: We won! Ha Ha! You lost! Boo hoo! Stop whining like a little girl, and get over it Buttercup.

That's the problem. He's neither really a friend to Canada or America at the moment, let alone to most of the world save for few countries like Russia. And I could honestly express this as someone with dual citizenship in both nations. So considered me half ashamed at times, kelly.

The dairy dispute, meanwhile, centers on Canada’s staunchly protectionist approach to the industry. The Canadian dairy industry is largely quarantined—neither exporting nor importing milk products. In recent years, American producers found a loophole allowing them to export to Canada new products not covered by existing rules, but Canada has now moved to close that off. Canada’s reason is simple enough: It’s politically popular to support Canadian dairy farmers. The reason Trump is complaining is that it’s also politically popular to support American dairy farmers. (This is true across party lines: Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer is praising Trump on the milk issue; then-President Obama privately pressed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the same matter when he was in office.)

So it doesn't look like it's a 'Trump thing.'
