Johnnie To is a God Damned Legend

Johnnie To is a God Damned Legend and his films don't get the love and respect they deserve, at least not in the states.

He should be mentioned with all the greats like Tarantino, Leone, Hitchcock, John Woo, yet he very rarely gets named.

I'm not sure why he goes under the radar; maybe it's because his breakout films were in the very late 90s and early 2000s, after the indie film explosion of the '90s, and just before streaming blew up in the 2010s.
