Every time I read about Ms Tamblyn (for instance, she's joining "2 and a half men," they fail to list her as "Best known for her work in Joan of Arcadia." She was brilliant in that show! Maybe they'll do a movie of it?
shareyou are correct but I think it has to do with Amber herself not wanting to get pigeon holed as that Joan from that program. I think she's told her publicity people to tone it down...in fact there's no reference to Joan even on her main IMBD page...pics and references to films in which she hardly appeared!
proof might be in her special feature interview on the House run where she made no reference to JoA.
As to a movie I've put that question out to Barbara Hall on her message board...but to no avail. it would be easy to do...Amber COULD come back.(she'd need to tone up some)..Michael and many of the cast if Barbara moved it to that local college and picked up the God Vs Devil thing there (although she might just drop that as it may have had an impact on the ratings drop and decision by the net to end JoA after just two seasons. Barbara would NOT (I hope) continue with the cop thing so that would save a bundle as the two "leads" on big salary could be gone...Mom and Dad not needed at college. The thing with her older brother was ok...he could come back. Some of the "Gods" could come back but I understand the older lady passed recently. I can see Lifetime or several other nets very happy to finance a move like this. But they better get with it!
