NO JOA?

Amber must be embarrased by Joan of Arcadia. the titles featured with pics including things she was hardly seen. in "the Ring"...blink and you miss her...and General Hospital instead of Joan? Give me a break! same thing for House but in JOA SHE was the series...not the cop or his wife and the crip or the geek and certainly not boring Adam! shame on you Amber...trying to make us forget how great you were...in Joan of Arcadia!!!

same here...but don't look for Amber to "thank you"!
It appears she want nothing to do with JOA memories!

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say. I *think* you're saying that there wasn't enough of her in the opening credits of Joan of Arcadia therefore Amber must have been be embarrassed by the show. Is that right? If so, then that's a strange leap of logic.

I very much doubt she had anything to so with the credits. Those things are usually knocked together by an external company that specialises such things. It would have been completed before the first episode was ever aired. It's doubtful they would have asked her opinion about them.

not saying that at all.
I'm saying that she may have instructed her publicity dudes to play down JOA. that simple.
she wants to make the present and future more important than the past. I can understand that in the atmosphere of "Hollywood" but she was such a standout and so great (in my opinion) in JOA that even she should remember and recognize that! I do.

Maybe she is pleased with her work in JOA, which I liked, but she has to move on since it is over. She can be a better actor if she does not get typecast and maybe that is why she does not wish to go there at this time. Many actors who establish themselves as one character realize they must avoid being locked into such a character which can keep them from getting work or better parts. All one has to to is remember George Reeves (Superman), Elvis Presley, and others who suffered from typecasting. Some are able to make typecasting work for them like John Wayne and Clint Eastwood but not all actors are able to to that. Good luck, Amber.
