Nominate Michael Stuhlbarg for an OSCAR!

Brad Pitt (Benjamin Button), take notice.

How do you play the lead in a tragicomedy and hit all the right, complex notes at the right time? How do you make ordinariness mesmerizing?

Stuhlbarg knows.

At most, he deserves the Oscar for Best Actor and our heartfelt appreciation for turning the character on a page into a 3-dimensional mensch we'll never forget. It's not every actor who has the precious ability to make us laugh through our tears.

For that, and for creating a truly beloved character through the most astonishing range of delicate facial expressions, he deserves, at the very least, a nomination.

I'm trying to tell you, this is good for your mental health.

Eighth! lol. I just saw the film today. The original poster hit it right on the money. Not only was he perfect in the role, but the film itself was brilliant. Def. noms for Best Actor and Best Picture.
