First post on imdb (not off-topic)

But I was on vacation to New York City last month, (I'm from Vancouver, Canada) and I had tickets to see Cabaret with Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams at Studio 54. It was a fantastic performance, but at intermission I went down to the lobby and saw Mr. Stuhlbarg standing by himself. It took me a brief second to recognize who it was, and I walked over to him and as calmly and politely as I could asked, "I don't mean to bother you, but would you mind posing for a quick picture?" I was nervous because the last thing I wanted to be was a pest, but he smiled warmly and obliged. He shook my hand and introduced himself and we got a woman to take your photo with my camera. He was very AR-like, very soft-spoken. He told me to enjoy the rest of the show and excused himself to the bar. The woman gave me my camera back and said, "was that someone famous?" I had a million things to say to him about BWE but I didn't want to harass him. I don't know if he reads his own message boards but I just wanted to say thank you again for taking the time to do that, it made my night and visit to New York one I won't soon forget :)

Great story!

From what I hear, he is very nice in person.

I am also completely mesmerized by his acting in BWE. The best actor of the cast in my opinion, and that's saying something, given the level of the other actors on this show.
