Charlie's Angels (2019) Blu-ray is out and the video and audio are awesome.

In honor of Charlie's Angels Blu-ray release on March 10th, I decided to do a music video featuring my fave clips of Kristen in her performance as Sabina to the beat of Last Hurrah performed by Bebe Rexha: youtube.com/watch?v=_jp43AeSLRo

And I'm not the only one who thinks Kristen, I meant, Kristen along with the Blu-ray transfer looks incredible--so does this site: blu-ray.com/movies/Charlies-Angels-Blu-ray/256803/

The picture yields clarity in abundance and highly satisfying detail with regularity. The picture is resplendently sharp and leaves nothing to the imagination within the 1080p resolution's reach. Complex facial textures, dense hair, expertly crafted clothes, gorgeous natural and manmade locations: the entirety of the production benefits from the format's ability to render it with precision and grace. Colors are equally impressive, boasting incredible contrast, depth, and brilliance. Tones are in balance and in abundance throughout, with perfectly defined natural greens, popping clothes, solidified environmental colors, natural skin hues, and quality black levels all in play. Noise sometimes appears inorganic, sharp, and frozen, with banding and a few compression issues visible as well. But these are relatively minor inconveniences in a larger picture of Blu-ray excellence.

And as good as the picture quality is, the audio is even better, this site giving it 5 stars out of 5.

Another nicely done video. It captures some of the highlight spots, like you say. I see the movie is on my cable, and I'll be seeing it again. I liked the movie, felt it was done well and as an expansion of the CA genre.

Before doing this edit, I never truly appreciated Kristen's impressive use of her physicality on display in Charlie's Angels, the way she could non-verbally convey not just emotion, but even her thoughts using subtle and nuanced, and sometimes, not so subtle and not so nuanced, facial expressions and body language/gestures. This, along with her comedic talent in CA, which was likewise quite noticeable in her guest host appearances on SNL, solidifies her as an actress who can play a wide variety of roles. While I did take notice of this while watching CA in a theater, it was not until I broke down her performance, scene-by-scene, clip-by-clip, and frame-by-frame, that this became even more readily apparent.

I initially intended on using some of her funnier comedic dialogue in this edit, but for some reason when I added these clips to the video editing software I used, the video and audio did not sync up chronologically for some odd reason. So I decided on doing a music video type edit with just video clips synced to the music.

Great. Did they also entirely reshoot the movie for the Blu-ray release so that it is now a good movie that someone actually wants to see?
