While Kristen looks her best with longish upswept hair combed back, as we both agreed on Ron, she's a looker regardless of what hairdo she sports, even if it's a rat-tail hairdo. And I can't quite understand why this is considered weird, as rats are one of our closest genetic cousins as we share 99% of our genes and 97.5% of our working DNA. Although we are still closer to chimpanzees, we are actually genetically closer to rats than we are to horses, dogs or cats. Thus it should come as no surprise that rats possess high intelligence, ingenuity, and adaptability. For myself personally, I've developed a newfound respect for this rodent ever since watching Pixar's Ratatouille. Food for thought the next time one decides to set up rat traps in their home. Now if someone compared any of Kristen's hairstyles to Trump's comb-over, now that would be an insult.

All kidding aside and in order not to stray too far off topic, I thought it apropos to make mention of an interesting article from The Hollywood Reporter which gives us an insider's glimpse of what goes on behind closed doors with regard to the Cannes Film Festival jury: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/shh-never-told-secret-rules-889873

While the article doesn't make it appear that they are anywhere as clandestine as secret societies such as the powerhouse Bilderberg Group, it does draw comparisons to a papal enclave. From the way it's being described, one could also use the analogy of serving on a trial jury, as it involves a closed room discussion shut off from the public, involving deliberations, a democratic process of voting along with a head juror/foreperson who facilitates the process. This head juror, or jury president in the case of Cannes' jury, is none other than Cate Blanchett, who put Kristen in her place and showed her who's boss:

“So actresses,” she said sarcastically, glancing at jury members Kristen Stewart and Léa Seydoux, “don’t answer that, because you have no idea how to answer that.” A ripple of nervous laughter ran through the crowd.

Don't let Kristen's befuddled look on her face as pictured in this Vanity Fair article, the same look that the Toronto Raptors recently gave LeBron James moments after he sent them packing after the Raptors got swept by the Cavs in the NBA playoffs, fool you into believing that Kristen feels in any way intimidated. Kristen, despite not being the Cannes jury president, does have an equal say in the matter. So hopefully Kristen returns the favor to Mrs. Blanchett by being as insubordinate and disorderly as possible, just as I was to the head juror on the jury I served on, who tried to push his weight around. I mean, I brought up air-tight, virtually irrefutable points pertaining to the case--but he wouldn't have any of it--for all the head juror could think of was, "What's for lunch?" Sure, Blanchett won two Oscars, but she has yet to win a Cesar award, France's equivalent to the Oscar, like Kristen did. And because they are in France for the time being, the Cesar carries more weight in my opinion, meaning Kristen has some weight to push around as well if push comes to shove.
