Although I must admit that I prefer her with longish hair, I think she looks great with a buzzcut! Amazed by what lengths, or shorts, she will go to for a film role.

First I saw of her short/pixie hair cut was on the Stephen Colbert show. I was at first surprised since I hadn't seen it before but I like it. She seems to be able to do any hair style well. She did it mainly for her new movie Underwater though she says she has wanted to try the short hair style for a while.
shareWhen googling for Kristen news a few days ago, pics of her recently shaved head were trending, which at first glance I initially thought was photoshopped--you can never really tell these days whether pics of a celebrity are legit or not. After clicking on various links which led me to sites like the one I posted above, the first two images that popped up in my mind were Eminem and Charlize Theron from "Mad Max: Fury Road". So I'm guessing that likewise, the first impression moviegoers will have of Kristen when seeing her on the silver screen for "Underwater" sporting her buzzcut, is that she's a too cool for school, kick-ass heroine.
One of the tics she has is touching or running her fingers through her hair--so she won't be doing any of that for a while--but like she mentioned while being interviewed on the Stephen Colbert show, she'll probably be rubbing her head instead LOL!
Hehe, she did say on the Colbert show that she thought having short hair would keep her from running her hands through her hair but she still finds herself doing it. She was funny talking about it. :)
She did mention something about the studio having her look more of a bad ass with the buzz cut.
Is it just me Ron, or from the time she started acting in movies that the older Kristen gets the younger she looks--like a real life the Curious Case of Benjamin Button?
LL, now that you mention it, she still looks so young and going to be 27 in a month. Yes, that is still young but she looks like she could still pass for a teen ager in a film. :)
shareShe also looked over a decade under her age in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory spoof sketch, "Golden Ticket" on SNL. I wonder if this has a lot to do with her being a vegetarian. I say this from personal experience as I myself was a vegetarian for about seven years and during that period people who knew me would tell me that I didn't seem to age as far as appearance during those years. So perhaps I should go back to being a vegetarian, although I must admit it does take a lot of willpower when you live and work among carnivores.

shareI had the same problem too Carved and by your response, I'm guessing others had issues with this as well. I believe this has something to do with the creators finding a way to prevent trolls, or anyone else for that matter, from creating multiple sock accounts with a single IP address as some used to do on IMDb, and I'm guessing that in order to accomplish this would require members to re-register as some members were discussing this on a thread on the General Discussion board.
A few days ago I could not log onto my account either so at first I thought I may have entered my password incorrectly when signing up for a membership, yet how could this be when we're all required to enter a password twice to eliminate such mistakes. Interestingly, I signed up again, using my same screen name, same password and same internet address and was able to log in successfully since. So this reconfirmed my belief of having to re-register.
Eh, it's ok but I'm not crazy about it. She looks too much like the singer Halsey now for my taste\. They almost look identical without hair.

I'll refer to Halsey the next time someone brings up Eminem for the millionth time on YouTube--although I must admit, like I mentioned earlier, Slim Shady was one of the first things that crossed my mind.
