wonder if it will be a recurring role?

Too bad I see he's been replaced/dropped...even tho the show has been picked up!

Yeah, and they're promoting the show a lot. It's such a shame that his character was dropped. It would have been enjoyable seeing him every week, and it sounds like he'd really like to have a steady lucrative gig. But that said, in some of the early promo vids, although he did great (as usual), I wasn't too excited about the seemingly weak character he was given to play, so maybe it's good that he didn't get stuck with that. I know I know, "there are no small roles..." sure...

his character wasn't dropped.

Saw that they recast too. Stupid stupid NBC! He is an amazing actor to watch and would have made the small role more meaningful than it was written for. Too bad for NBC, and maybe it was a good thing for Toby Stephens as he deserves a much significant role anyways.

He's a Class A actor. NBC is totally moronic. (Although I haven't been able to discover exactly why.) Maybe he was outshining most of the cast and it just became all the more clear that when he was on screen; he was that good (even in the thankless boyfriend role - which most women are stuck in as the thankless girlfriend role?) Unsurprising. That's the only thing I can think of.

Yes. I hope he can get another, more significant role out of this.
