Vaccines don't keep you from getting the rona, it keeps you above ground. After dodging it for almost three years, my wife and I both got it two weeks ago. We're both vaccinated and honestly, it was like a minor cold. If it weren't for the notoriety, we wouldn't have even suspected it was anything else. The nagging cough for both of us was the worse part.
My wife's cousin wasn't so lucky. 47 years old, healthy as a horse, and it took him in the spring of 2020. A vaccine would have saved his life. Too bad, good family man who left a huge void.
