Among the greatest producers of all time!

Phil was definitely among the greatest producers of all time. The most common criticism is overproduction. Aside from the women's choir on Long and Winding Road I don't see it. Instant Karma is among the best Beatles solo singles -- and it was done in a day! All Things Must Pass is the best solo Beatle album. Maybe because I first heard the songs as they are I thought nothing of the so--called Phil overproduction. He gave that distinct Phil sound yes, but it worked! Anyway, Phil had issues, yes, but no one helped him. No friends to help get him off and keep him off booze and dope, Np friends to take all his guns away. But they don't do that in the US. They say it's your right to have guns; yes it's an insane right, but that's where we're at until we have change. I see the Clarkson incident as accidental. Because his original attorney died he got a 2nd rate 2nd trial and was convicted of murder instead of what should have been negligent homicide or manslaughter. But the fact is without the guns there would have been no incident. And then he died of Covid alone in prison after all his contribution to the world. And mourned by no one...except me.
