Divorced - can he live his truth now?

Sexist I guess, but I have a hard time believing a straight guy would write sappy romance novels about womens loving loves greater than anyone has loved before with handsome, strong men who are kind of stoic but have sensitive, emotional sides that only the love of their lives can bring out.

What about Richard Paul Evans?

reply

Not sure. He's a mormon. They are a peculiar group in some waysx.

Didn't he cheat on her with a woman?

There's plenty of men who have written romantic novels. Doctor Zhivago comes to mind, and the main character was a poet.

reply

Yeah, you're right.

I know girls who are into guys that don't like the stereotypical girly stuff. They listen to rock music and would rather watch a horror movie than a rom-com. Same deal with guys like Sparks I guess. I should be more open minded.

The thing is, I don't know if these guys who write this stuff are actually effeminate in manner and have a variety of interests. What about male script writers of romantic movies? What about song writers and musicians, practically every song is a love song? Groupies would beg to differ on what's masculine.
