My two favorite David Soul roles were the middle brother Joshua on Here Come the Brides and the artist painting Gloria in the nude on All in the Family.

I watched Star Trek a zillion times and I just found out he was in it. The better actors can make themselves unrecognizable in a role.

Notable yes...although the mother from Mary Poppins died a few days back (she was 100 year old)

Ah yes...Glynis Johns. I think she counts a little. Movies in the 50s, TV series in the 60s, funny part in the movie The Ref in the 90s.

And Mary Poppins.

But Soul is more recent and famous to be sure.
