Both my mum and brother have light blue eyes but they're NOTHING like Ian's.

It's not just the color of his eyes, it's the shape paired with his dark eyelashes and eyebrows which help his eyes from an old normal blue to OH MY GOD *beep* ME NOW EYES!!!!

His eyes are freaking dangerous. Can u imagine turning down anything he asks to do? One glimpse of those baby blues and that's it. lol. Thankfully, he seems to be using his power for good ;)

They are so pretty they are almost creepy, and I find that so sexy...and I love how he talks with his eyes ( I hope you'll know what I mean) when he plays Damon. You know what I like about Ian as a person, is that he really does not seem to be aware of how hot he really is. He seems so genuine as a really nice & caring guy. It may be an act ( who knows with actors), but I totally buy that he is a really great guy in real life. Even if he is a republican ( this is not confirmed, but he was at a republican party)....lol.

It's definitely not an act, as those who have met him in person all have the same verdict - he's very down-to-earth, laidback and genuinely cares about his fans. He mentions them a LOT in interviews and even on his Twitter page.

He's never revealed his political affiliation, but he definitely said on his Twitter page a number of months ago that he's a member of some kind of union and has said on several ocassions that he doesn't really like to talk about politics. He's been asked a few times if he would be interested in going into politics, but he flat out said, "No", as he thinks he wouldn't be able to handle it.

I agree. It's not an act. I met him at EyeCon this past weekend and he was as genuine as ever. He greeted every fan and gave plenty of hugs. He was there representing his foundation, which raised a ton of money. He was kind, gracious, and so thankful for the support.
As for his eyes, they really are that amazing in person! He is so charismatic! I can see why people like him so much.
