He's Super nice!!

omg you're so lucky i want to meet him badly. he seems so sweet on twitter :) he always talks about charity and stuff.

Isn't that really refreshing to hear that a celebrity who has everything going for him, like Ian, also has a polite personality and can be considered Super nice?

That is really great to hear because most celebrities act haughty and self-important around others, but not Ian.

That just goes to show that you can have looks, talent, fame, a career, and public adoration, but you can still treat others nicely and not act all sociopathic in public, liks some stars do.

Way to go, Ian. Would there be more like you, then Hollywood would be a far better place than it is today.

I just met him again last night, In DC. me and a few other people(7t total) waited four hours. (it was some type of celebrity dinner party charity event thingy, and it started at 6pm and i arrived their at 4pm) He didn't appear until 8pm. but when he did, he spoke to us, had alittle conversation. he knew we were freezing(below 30 degrees weather) so he even took pictures wiht us and signed some people autographs. :D :D this guy is awesome. some celebrities their didnt even stop. but a few did. ian was one of them. Mchammer signed autographs and sophia bush and mat bomer.

Actually, this guy is the worst. My boss took me to the the Superbowl this year and we sat a few rows behind him. Ian ordered beers from a waiter. This was in the first 10 rows so they have waiters instead of having to get them yourself. The waiter brought the beers and gave them to Ian and then told Ian what the bill was. It was $48. Expensive for beers, yes, but it's the Superbowl so I don't know what he expected. At that point Ian threw a huge hissy fit and refused to pay for the beers he and his friend were already drinking. The poor waiter had to stand there basically begging this "down to earth & respectful & kind" jerk to pay what he owed. Ian refused. At one point he told the waiter, "Here's $40. You can take it or not. I don't care but that's all you're going to get from me." It got really ugly and ultimately a family that was nearby paid Ian's bill just to make the whole thing stop. After the waiter left this fantastic guy tried to get the family to let him pay them back because, of course, he had plenty of money with him. He just felt like bullying somebody for doing their job. What a guy.
Also, he's a terrible actor.
He seems like the kind of guy who needs to get his ass kicked a couple of times.

And before any of you say it, I am NOT jealous of this guy. I didn't really have a strong feeling about him before this. I actually came on here trying to figure out what his name is so I could use his name when I tell everyone what a jerk he is. Then I read all this BS about how nice he is. He's not nice. He's a fraud.

Omg really? I'm not going to doubt you because there has been a few stories circling around some of the tvd cast personalities like Nina's. hers seem to pop up alot. but omg I found that really mean, I can't believe he did that. Like he's a celeb 40 dollars should be like easy for him to pay. Like seriously. I would have tipped the waitress like 100. XD

I'm really sorry if my story bums you out Nerdiiangel. It just drives me crazy when people do this to people in the service industry. This guy was a real *beep*

mcgeeves, if you had to check imdb to find out the guy's name who treated that waiter so badly... how can you be sure it was really Ian?

There are a lot of people who swear Ian just looks like Chace Crawford or Zac Efron or numerous other actors. Just look at some of the threads here, I'm sure there are lots of other names mentioned.

I'm just saying... how can you be sure it was him if you didn't even know him before that incident?
