Ugh I've been wanting to meet Ian, he looks like a cool to person to talk to, all of you people who've met him, you guys are so lucky. I live in tx and I'm never going to get a chance to meet this nice, cool, and down to earth person..but I can always dream, right? :)

I was very lucky that I met him. I will meet him again in June. He goes to a lot of countries in Europe.. apparently he loves Europe. But as far I know he goes to cons in the US as well.

Try to see if you can book any of the conventions coming up near you. Lots of fans who has met him at the TVD conventions say what a lovely down to earth person he is and so funny. But be warned he is even better looking in person especially those eyes.
shareI met him 3 weeks ago at the Las Vegas TVD Convention. He is everything that people say he is. He's am amazing man through and through. I've never met someone so nice to a complete stranger. I live in Canada and they never do TVD convention up here so it was appearing like it was something that was never going to happen for me. But, I entered a contest online, it was a Celeb Charity Challenge..Ian was the celebrity that I nominated, now never in my wildest dreams did i ever think i was going to win...but I did! When they notified me that I had won and were currently in the stages of getting in contact and setting something up..i totally freaked out. A little more then a month after I won they contacted me again to tell me that Ian had accepted the donation that they were making in my name to his charity ISF and that they would be flying me to Vegas to meet him and present him with a cheque to ISF for 25,000 Euros (approx. $30,000 USD). It was a private presentation 3 people from the Celeb Charity Challenge were there, 2 from ISF, his agent and a couple other people that were associated with him. I was the only fan.. as soon as he entered the room and everyone introduced he came to me right away and wrapped me in one of the most amazing hugs ever! We took some pictures, he signed some things, they did a mini interview with him and then we just talked..he has a habit of making you feel like you're the only person in the room that matters. Every time I was within touching distance or out of sight for to long he'd come find me and be hugging me and kissing my cheek. Such a sweet sweet man. He then gave me passes to the convention for the entire weekend. It was definitely a weekend to remember.
