Defensive Fans
This isn't a knock on all of Brittany's fans, but have some noticed that some of her fans are really defensive and just plain insane?
For instance, last year on Tumblr I just posted saying she looked a little too thin in pictures and I didn't understand the hardcore obsession with her. Well, her fans came at me. One girl openly complained about me on her page and told me to next time "spell her name wrong" if it's in the tag. Another girl NEVER was attempting to see my side of the story and kept getting angry about the thin comment saying she's skinny because she's healthy. Well, then why do we see her chest bones? Another girl full out told me that I'm the reason why "Love is Louder" was created. Which is ridiculous because I've been bullied my whole life, and they're bullying me. Isn't that called hypocrisy?
On OhNoTheyDidn't, a girl admitted that she loved Brittany, but wished she was bigger. Some other people shared the same sentiment, but another girl was defensive and said "If you were a true fan, you wouldn't say that." What's so wrong with wanting the people you love to be bigger?
Another person I knew was obsessed with Brittany and only liked "American Dreams" because of her and ripped the hell out of Will Estes and didn't think the other actors would be more successful.
I just don't get it. She didn't have the obsessed fandom during her "American Dreams" days and up until "Prom Night" it wasn't really like this. It's come to the point if someone says they prefer "The Pacifier" over "John Tucker" they get mad. Why do people act like this? Then again, not all...
