I'll always remember the vacant smile on her face as she explained to Jerry Seinfeld why she won't say anything "incorrect" on college campus shows. A stunning capitulation to what comedy should be against.

It is fascinating...the word and thought policing...

Personally, I used to think she was funny along time ago. Now it seems her only way to be funny is to shock people by being filthy. And it's like she does it just to piss people off. Using vulgarity as your main choice of being funny is a desperate attempt by comedians when they are done. They have lost the ability to make people laugh and have to turn to the last thing they can think of. Sure it "shocks" people, but it also grows old fast. She got famous for being funny at one time, but now, she has to rely on politics and vulgarity to stay relevant. It's sad actually that she had to turn to that and makes her look pathetic as a comedian. She just isn't funny and she can't come to terms with it. And bc she can't, she thinks people are morons for not finding her funny, and tries to shock and piss them off even more. What people should do to her, is just ignore her and her attempts at keeping herself famous. I guess that includes me too I know lol. Ignoring her would be far worse than any criticism in her mind, bc she thinks she is much more famous and relevant than she really is.

i never found her actually funny.. amusing maybe.
but these days she just desperately needs attention.
