I come from a place where being compared to Ed Wood is not an insult. More films should be as fearless, surreal, frightening, funny, personal and confessional as Glen or Glenda. A film so truly bizarre David Lynch still can't get close to it despite spending the last forty years mercilessly taking influence from it.
I don't think Ed Wood would laugh at the critical failure of another director but would rather celebrate their work as being something different - and above else, passionate.

I don't think you've ever watched an Ed Wood movie if you think Night's films are that bad.
shareEddie was great, his films were fun and we all remember them.
I loved his attitude.. he got off as arse and make movies, he did whatever it took.
