Remember how excited you used to get for new MNS movies?

And now it's more like "Wow... there's a new M Night Shyamalan movie out?"

No. I never remember getting excited about any of his movies. I know his movies don't contain gratuitous nudity and are essentially made for kids/family audiences. Such films are of no interest to a grown adult such as myself. I get excited about the latest Michael Haneke. Not teenybopper movies based on Nickelodeon cartoons.

It's kinda sad that his best movie was 16 years ago with The Sixth Sense. Although I did like Signs, The Lady in the Water, and The Village. His other movies that came out afterwards, were ok at best. I still get surprised from time to time should I happen to see his name come up, but I no longer get that vibe from him anymore.

Don't forget Unbreakable, which might be my favorite from him.
