It's official. The Last Airbender is getting a sequel and Shyamalan will be behind it. Let's hope that he has learned his lessons from the first movie, though I don't have much hope.

The only thing that'll happen, assuming a studio was dumb enough to green light the movie, is the fans of Avatar the Last Air Bender would get wriled up again, and make a huge racket over this quack of a writer/director/producer having ANY involvement with the project
shareThe only way this would work is if somehow they're doing a Legend of Korra animated movie and it might be released direct to DVD. M. Night's page shows nothing beyond 2017 and I like to think it's because he's been reduced to basic cable making a *beep* horror anthology series with the Tales from the Crypt name attached to it.
shareI wouldn't mind a sequel but they would have to completely recast everyone since the story left off that Sozin's Comet would be coming in 3 years and its been 6 years since the movie's release.
