Taylor Sheridan is going places
It's funny because I still remember him from Sons of Anarchy, and he seemed to have a very modest career going pretty much nowhere apart from the classic STV flicks and occasional tv show gigs, but suddenly he writes Sicario, to be directed by one of the most hyped and acclaimed directors around, follows it with Hell or High Water, also directed by someone with good credits in his name; two critically acclaimed powerhouses later and proceeds to write and direct Wind River which is already garnering a lot of attention and premiering at Sundance. He was just nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and already wrote the screenplay for the widely anticipated sequel to Sicario, Soldado. He achieved all of this basically within three years. That is nothing short of impressive.
I kinda follow his work carefully and want him to succeed big time. In his interviews he seems to be a pretty chill individual dedicated to produce good screenplays. He has my respect.
