Moriarty

This dude's portrayal of Moriarty was ridiculously good. He's brilliant, psychotic, scary, and still all together likable as the nemesis (similar to the way we like The Joker). I feel most actors attempting this style of character would make me cringe every other word - all he did was make this show twice as good. I know some might disagree but I feel like his performance rivaled even Benedict's.

Loved it. Best thing in Sherlock and thats no mean feat considering he is acting against the wonderful Freeman and Cumberbatch.

I got all happy in S1/E1 when Sherlock makes the cab driver say the name . . . "MORIARITY!" because I knew big evil was coming along. For a millisecond, I was taken aback by how young Scott's Moriarity is - then he put on his 5150 face and convinced me he was one sick pup.

There is always a chance he isn't the real M. I love this show and not once was the shooter from episode 1 and 3 identified. What if he actually was the poor devil in the photos? The real M could have had the gun on him as well. Geez now I'm stuck wondering again, 2014 better get here quick.

A different Moriarty from previous versions with the menace and playfulness of the Joker.

Its that man again!!

I agree. Love how he really went out on a limb. It was a really bold choice that could have gone so wrong. He did a great job keeping everybody on edge--loved especially how he flirted with Sherlock to put him off kilter. You were never sure what kind of vibe was between them. In my mind-canon, Scott's Moriarty was a little sweet on Sherlock, because he was so obsessed with him in general (I wish we knew the moment that caused Moriarty to latch on to Sherlock in this way). Anyway, it was great, and a fresh take on an old character. Can't wait to see what else he does.
