Did anyone read a/o see this article?

It's supposed to be a "review" of BT, however it seems like the writer is ragging on the actors too!

Here's a bit of what was written:

"Would this fact make me read Tanya Huff’s book series? No. I’ve had my fill of the quasi-characters of Blood Ties.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. That’s what I walked away with at the end of series two.

Coulda created three-dimensional characters without reverting to tired clichés, but was too busy jumping on the ‘vampire’ popularity bandwagon.

Woulda had a larger fan base had the story arc, plots, and characters been worth investing in, and the actors delivered their performances with conviction.

Shoulda spent those extra bucks on CGI "

WTF??!!!

Sure you've got the basic cliche: vampire hottie wants human woman who has a a close male friend that wants her two.....

But what show doesn't have that in one form or another.....I love blood ties I thought it was all a compilation of awesome.....the characters where interesting and multifaceted with there own hang ups and way of dealing with things.....(for instance characters weren't mindlessly in love.....they got pissed at each other on occasion) there was the reminder in the series of the lead in to the big bad in astaroth that finally got out in the series finale.

And for one henry wasn't just a pretty face. He was playful and flirty, mostly because he was trying to win vicky over and get her to let him through her armour (and for the audience too.....) he was serious and worried and humourous a lot of the times as well.

I also loved the cinematography and overall sense of eerie atmosphere that the show created-especially the night scenes. And I love the musical score made for the show. Especially the sonf 'flutterbye' that plays in the 'medusa' episode where henry and coreen are taking pictures of the stone statues that the people had been turned into while vicky has to bury the shattered remains of the boy that medusa turned to stone, who's family and friend will never be able to know what happened.....because she'll never be able to tell.
