I have been watching Freaks & Geeks again, just finished Dead Dogs & Gym Teachers.
This guy is usually the comedic relieve of the show, he is hilarious and makes great faces. But he had to show a more emotional side in this episode and he did just as good of a job. Many actors can only do one, but he excels at both. WHY is he not famous yet? He is fantastic.

shareNot sure. He's now the last of the guys from "Knocked Up" not to be the lead in a comedy of his own. Seth Rogen WAS the lead in that and many since, Paul Rudd has "I Love You Man", Jonah Hill has "Superbad" and "Get Him to the Greek", Jason Segal has "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", and Jay Baruschel now has "She's Out of My League".
Poor Martin's the last one left. :( Maybe no one recognizes him cause of the beard. lol!
He's got that new show "Party Down" which I HIGHLY recommend. He's freakin' hilarious!

Probably because he's not that attractive. With a haircut and shaving he could look much better. But hey if Jonah Hill can get leading roles, there has to be hope for Martin.

Agreed...just watched adventureland again, and was more impressed by the sympathay and humanity he brought to his character.
I'm not that proud of everything I've done, but I'm not that ashamed, either.
