Freaks and Geeks reunion, yay or nay?

I would love to see the full reunion rather than those half-assed reunions they have where only half the cast show up (still I'd see it). If only Linda Cardellini and Jason Segel can reconsile after they were broken up almost six years ago then yes I think we might have a full reunion in our hands.

In short, I say YES! Do it! Only as a special retrospective show and not as a TV movie.

I would LOVE to see a reunion. Even if it was just like a 2-hour special or something. It would be so fun to explore where all the characters have gone. Many of them have gotten really famous though, so who knows how many would return for it.

I'm crossing my fingers it happens!!!

reply

Definitely yes.

I don't think they ended the show properly and since it was so good I think it deserves, and its fans deserve a proper ending.

yes, with the big cult following and how they now air the episodes on IFC, definitely need a 10 year reunion, Freaks & Geeks, 1990, I'm sure Judd Aptow could arrange it since he is a big wig now in Hollywood. Just don't put it on Fox, they would probably cancel it before it was aired! Maybe IFC can work with Aptow to get it made.

As for working with an ex, I worked with my ex-husband for years, him 3 cubicles away from me, and we didn't make it common knowledge that we had ever been married. It's very possible to work with an ex. It's called being a grownup!

Well, *beep* me gently with a chainsaw. Do I look like Mother Theresa?

reply

Yes! I'd watch but not a retrospective! I want a movie where they can properly rap things up.

Hate to break it to y'all, but there was a Freaks & Geeks reunion as well as Undeclared at Paleyfest this year. It was March 12th and everyone except Franco attended. It was pretty awesome.
