Why do all Brazilians like to start fighting on IMDb boards?

Why do all Brazilians like to start fighting on IMDb boards?
I mean , seriously. What's wrong with these people. If you go to "The Brazilian Job" board it's the same damn thing. They keep fighting and saying how great Brazil is. What's up with that? I REALLY don't get why they do this on the internet. It doesn't make any sense. Why can't they act like normal people like the rest of us? Why can't they just be friendly? Help me to understand that. Please , they do that ALL over the internet. If they see the word Brazil in any American website they start fighting and saying how great Brazil is.

I mean seriously. Why do they do this all over the internet? Why do they have to say that Brazil is the greatest country? I mean , I am from Germany and I don't come here to say how great my country is. Why do they do that?

BTW , I am a fan of LOST that's why i got to this message board.

Well I dont like to fight on Internet, but we brazilians, know the problems of brasil and the image that the rest of the world has when it's about Brasil.First of all it's not everybody who likes Carnival, and in our streets, we dont find a monkey in every corner.
All that is shown in the rest of the world is a wrong image of Brasil though some things are a cruel reality like the corruption of our government!!!
That's why sometimes we fight on internet, to change this image...just it!!!

When people perceive one image of a nation as the sole image, it tends to stir up emotions. You have to remember that there are millions of people in Brazil, so you're going to have a million different perceptions. And if you're not Brazilian, it sits wrongly that you discus the culture without the inhabitants' imput.

For anyone and everyone ever catagorized or stereotyped I say:

'Nothing about us - without us'
