In trivia it says he is 6ft2. But in the movie, why did he look over a foot taller than Gerard Butler, who is also 6ft2?

He's been altered. With the help of computers. And yes, that is exactly what happened to his voice as well.

CGI is a wonderful thing! Or a rather creepy thing, in this case.

His height in no way looked realistic in the film, it was very clear CGI (not that it was a bad film, but...well,no-one's going to buy the 9ft man thing).
