Remember when he was called Chinese then a member of the KKK?

Crazy times, but it's more amazing that his face is familiar to billions of people who weren't even born a decade after he croaked.

The food seriously went downhill after Yum Foods Inc. bought them though.

Kentucky in Australia used to have a lot more variety now it's just fried chicken, burgers and chips.

The burgers are ok but the chicken itself doesn't appeal to me so much anymore.

reply

In the US the specialty has always been chicken. Burgers at KFC would be a horrifying thought.

They are chicken burgers just a fillet really in a bun.

Although they did do the the one which was two fillets of chicken with cheese and bacon in the middle.

Like a burger but no bun.

Oh I see, yeah American KFC has those too. When I was a kid, they had this small, simple sandwich called the "Chicken Little," which I loved. They brought it back in recent years, but it's not the same.

I sometimes wonder if our tastes change or if they just mess with the old recipes.

The chickens taste different. It's the same thing with beef.

The McDonalds of the 70s and ealry 80s use to smell and tasted fresher and meatier. Today it barely has any
of those carbon notes, unlike the gourmet burgers you can get at Red Robin or In'n'Out/5 Guys.

A lot of the mass produced chickens eat less of the natural grains and are eating more GMO and processed soy bean feed.

In this case they changed the sandwich. It used to be more round shaped, but the new version is oblong. And it tastes dry because they use breast meat instead of the little formed patties of the old days, and I think they don't use as much mayonnaise as before. They also put pickle slices, which changes the texture and the flavor.
