I think he's a great actor, although every time it see him recently he's turning into Columbo!.. He really reminds me of Peter Falk recently.. Should be in a film..
'Son of Columbo' investigating his fathers murder or something!?
He should DEFINITELY play Colunno. Not "son of", just Columbo, in a series of movies. It hit me the moment I saw him in "Zodiac". Between the hair,VT he rumpled raincoat, the brown eyes, adorable face, height, great acting....everything.
They MUST make a SERIES of "Columbo" films starring Mark Ruffalo. I don'understand why they haven't begun writing them yet. The movie franchise would go through the roof. It would make hundreds of millions of dollars for grubby Hollywood, because millions of people ADORE Columbo, and they really admire Ruffalo as well. And, he's already proven himself to be a great actor at least 20 times over.
Write the film series, and give him the part already. Why the hold-up?????
