shareIn 2002, he had a brain tumor called an Acoustic Neuroma removed. The removal of the tumor caused complete paralysis in half of his face. With time his nerves have nearly completely healed but, there are always small tell-tales. I find it endearing on him. My husband had the exact same tumor removed in January of this year and still has full paralysis on the left side of his face. He hopes that it will heal as well, even if (as you put it) it looks as though "he's working over a piece of chewing tobacco."

Never noticed anything with his mouth, but I saw "Thanks for Sharing" tonight and I noticed it more on his left eye, which sort of droops a little bit. Certainly not enough to put a dent in his sex appeal though, he's gorgeous.

I've always wondered about his eye and mouth, but I never thought it diminished his handsomeness. In trying to find out more about him, I also found out he's deaf in one ear (from the tumor, if I'm not mistaken.) That poor guy has been through the ringer.
