shareBased on her retroactive updates via twitter and blogs, she'd probably have altered, meddled with, and revised Star Wars to death by now.
Can you imagine? Somebody altering the original masterpiece Star Wars films?
Imagine if they then made those alterations permanently the only versions (officially) available and refused to release the originals on DVD or Blue Ray?

Lucas just couldn't resist monkeying around with a perfect and iconic trilogy...this still pisses me off to this day
The laser disc and VHS set are out there online but fairly pricey plus you'll need to get a laser disc or vcr machine to watch them in their original glory
I understand where he might want to revise it to fit with his new vision (I've never bought that it was the "original vision") or update effects, but he should release the originals, too. Let us decide. Heck, package them as a set.
They did that *very* briefly in the early 2000s; I have those ones. The quality could be better, but it's good enough for me; vastly preferable to a pristine copy of a junk version, anyway.
