Brandon Routh as a Marvel Character
Since DC no longer wants Brandon as Superman (ACCEPT IT!), he can always a play a character from Marvel Comics!
If you agree, which character should he play?

Hmmm....that's a really interesting idea....I can't think of one at the moment, as I'm not quite as familiar with Marvel as I am with DC, but an X-man is always a safe bet given the quantity of characters available.
shareI can see him being Scott Summers (AKA Cyclops).
shareWow! So do I!
shareYeah, pretty good choice. Though I did like James Marsden in the role, and felt like he was not given enough to do and overshadowed by Hugh Jackman's Wolverine....then again, it's Hugh Jackman. He overshadows a lot of guys.
shareAt the risk of sounding lazy, Hyperion? If the bastards at WB won't let Brandon be Superman anymore, what better way to give them the finger by playing Marvel's erstaz Superman? Get Kevin Spacey to play Master Menace, and Christian Bale to play Nighthawk, and you've got a Squadron Supreme movie.
shareMaybe Routh could be Balder the Brave in a Thor sequel (since it looks like Balder's not gonna be in THOR #1).
shareI agree, if they ever get the rights to those characters and decide to make a completely new X-men; this is my Scott Summers and Scott Caan is my Logan.
It'll be like the comics. I mean Cyclops always towered Wolverine in stature.
One ring to rule them all
He could have been Gambit. Maybe a younger Daredevil prequel could work.
Also with Blonde dye he could have been Captain America.
If he does another DC character he could be a good Dick Grayson or Terry McGinnis.
