When did his career go downhill?

Around the late 2000's all of his comedies were good if not great, but I think around the time The Interview came out they all started to go downhill. The Guilt Trip, Neighbors 2, An American Pickle, Long Shot were all garbage.

when he got TDS.... he lost his talent, humor ... and all his fans

IT DIDNT...HE BEGAN DOING MORE BEHIND THE CAMERA STUFF...THE LONG SHOT WAS FANTASTIC AS WELL.

He claimed in a podcast that he don’t relate to Israeli Jews. That Israeli Jews are very hostile and there are so many lies about Israel. He basically was not pro the Israeli State.

reply

Contrary to popular belief, Israeli Jews are not a monolithic people. You have deeply religious and very Rightwing elements who support ethnic cleansing of non-Jews out of both Israel and the occupied territories, you have mostly European Orthodox Jews who don't mingle with moderate Jewish Israelis AND the more genetically Jewish (Sephardic and Mizrahi) peoples.

Most American Jews I know are fair weather Jews in terms of religious observance as well.

First I agree with your post. Second , people that ultimately hire SR, people that love Israel with every bone in their body ( but would never live there ) found his statement inappropriate. He has since received pushback and this might have hurt his career.

Imagine if the queer said that about Muslims though.

Neighbors and The Interview is when the comedy totally jumped the shark and went down the toilet.
