Yeah, I don't like stuff like that either. It can depend, but in general it is not nice or funny. For instance in this pandemic era with not much to do I have been re-watching the series Curb Your Enthusiasm. There is actually quite a bit to criticize on the show, but any comedy show is going to venture into questionable subject matter at some point. But, there was an episode where Larry is taking this medicine for his prostate I guess that makes him pee very hard. He is visiting at the house of some crazy devout Christians, which is usually where they start with Christians, they are all crazy. But he has to use the restroom and his strong stream of pee creates droplets that fly around the room, and one of them hits a portrait of Jesus and it looks like Jesus is crying. The Christians think it is a miracle ... and so on. First of all it was hard to believe, it just could not happen, but second, it was just a stupid attack on a certain brand of fundamentalist Christians. Rogen can be really funny, and he is one of those who can find humor in twisted things too. I don't know what to think of him or his work, but where back a long time I would be interested in what he did because I thought it would be funny, I just don't anymore. It's a bit like the Three Stooges, as a child I used to think they were the height of humor, and today I have trouble finding any humor in them at all. There is a lot of humor at the expense of Muslims, and even Jews, but of the three main religions, I think humor is directed at the most serious brand of each. Most Jews today are secular and they make fun of the Orthodox Jews, and of course Muslims are completely over the top, and then come the Christians who vote based solely on abortion, or who are waiting for the end times. Human nature seems to be getting worse, but to find the comedic side at least gives us something to laugh about.
