Yup.

Signed, million man.

reply

RIP. I used to watch him on the 700 Club when I was younger.

reply

That's very disturbing. Are you still a fan of faith fiction?

reply

Maybe. It depends on what your definition of "faith fiction" is.

reply

The Bible, the Koran and their ilk.

reply

There is a lot we, as human beings, don't know. I think most religions and/or religious texts contain at least some degree of truth. I've read the Bible multiple times and attended a Christian Bible College. I think there is much wisdom and truth in the Bible, even though humans sometimes misinterpret it or don't apply/follow it correctly.

reply

The "wisdom and truth" in the Bible is all subjective and has been duplicated and expanded upon by many philosophers since and before it was written. It also has a lot of senseless prohibitions and pronouncements. It hasn't added one damn thing to our knowledge of the universe, which science will go on doing for as long as man survives, long after religions remain only as an anthropological curiosity from our specie's early days.

reply

Nonsense! Without the bible, we wouldn't know that the universe is just over 6000 years old and that water can be turned into beer through alchemy.

reply

Good riddance.

Sorry, I usually don't say anything when someone I despise passes away, but I hope he really doesn't enjoy his time in hell.

reply

Hell is just the absence of little boys to molest for this guy.

reply

Now he's standing in front of God trying to spin a good story about why he got rich pushing religion on dupes for so many decades. God has his hand on the lever for the trap door to Hell.

reply

No see, he was collecting that money on god's behalf, therefore it's only right he be allowed to wet his beak a little!

reply

Yeah, that's the ticket.

reply

I'm surprised this is the first post on this board. It look likes MovieChat didn't bother to grab the old IMDb threads.

reply

It's a very minor chat site. I doubt Pat Roberson's fans are among the cognescenti.

reply

I disagree. MovieChat is important in that it has preserved all the IMDb message boards going back 20 years.

I'm just curious why "Jim" or the founders didn't transfer all the old posts for every IMDb entry. It appears all the actual movie boards on MovieChat are complete and go back 20 years or more.

I mean they missed Pat Robertson. It seems like the transferal of old threads was not complete and I wonder why?

I would guess that some of the old IMDb debates on Pat Robertson, between Christians and atheists, would have been hilarious. Too bad we don't have them.

93? Well, they do say only the good die young.

reply

So all old people are assholes?

reply

You are one judging by your response to capuchin's joke.
