I hope the lake commission bans swimming

Considering it's murky and has botanical debris underneath, it is not ideal for swimmimg. I would be concerned about CoVID19 as well. Viruses are found in lakes too. May she RIP.

Warning signs at the lake, of course, would be welcome, but no thanks to an outright ban. We don't need a nanny-state looking out for us like toddlers.

There is nothing wrong with lake swimming everyone does it. You just have to be more safe than a pool. Wear a life vest and anchor your boat if you use one out far in the water. Her boat floated away further than she could swim back to.

Someone else posted an article about the final autopsy and toxicology report, and well. All sorts of interesting things were found in her bloodstream, things that might have impaired her ability to swim.

So if anything should be banned, it's boating while impaired.
