I've been wondering for a while. He always mentions like 10 different projects he's involved in developing (the TV and remake stuff) but nothing ever seems to materialize. I remember on the Bronson DVD extras he talked about wanting to do an Aleister Crowley movie with Tom Hardy - wish that had actually happened.

Well I'd definitely rather have that than the Barbarella TV show which apparently he's definitely doing (end of this: http://www.rogerebert.com/balder-and-dash/art-is-an-act-of-violence-an -interview-with-nicolas-winding-refn). It sounds like that Carey Mulligan sex zombie movie or whatever isn't really happening though. Very vague.
shareHe seems to have caught the art bug. So it's hard to tell. But his next project is likely to be an art statement in the vein of Valhalla Rising or Only God Forgives.
