Did he have a falling out with Ryan Gossling?

I was curious if Ryan and Nicholas had a falling out because I remember several years ago they were going to do a remake of Logan's Run together and then it got scrapped. I don't think it should be remade as well as a lot films that are classics or cult classics shouldn't. However, despite Only God Forgives being confusing, too long, etc. the cinematography was visually was well done. Unfortunatley, I didn't get the symbolism or metaphors or poetry of the storyline or characters except for the obvious Oedipal Complex with the
brothers and their gangster mom. I loved Drive and I think NWR does have hits and misses with his body of work, but every top talented director has! The process of creativity sometimes comes instantly or you need to take time to experiment and deal with the roller coaster ride of challenges to get your message or vision's point.

Negative. No falling out from what I'm aware of. Ryan wrote and directed his own film Lost River while taking a little break from acting but is in a few upcoming films plus had a kid so im sure they will team up again. From the way Ryan speaks seems like they do talk often. I know refn was really supportive when the harsh criticism of Goslings film was bashed at the Cannes premiere.

Logan runs was scrapped, they thought about doing a sequel to drive since the novel had one but at the moment they simply aren't interested.

If anything Ryan's horrible reception at Cannes with Lost River might have pull the wool back from everyone's eyes there, and now they can see they've maybe also been sold some BS from Refen as well. Chain reaction.
