Fahrenheit 451

So this is a book that I've loved since I first read it in middle school and I thoroughly believe would look great in the film medium. I realize that it was already made a film, but with the technology out now, I feel that the imagery from the novel could become far more realized today than it was in the 1960s. I keep asking myself who could possibly make this novel come to life and I think there are only a few choices that I believe could handle it well. One of them is Refn.

If you have a copy of the book at home (or can find it online), take it out and just read the first few pages and imagine it onscreen with Refn at the helm and a cinematographer like Hoyte Van Hoytema (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Fighter, Let The Right One In, Her, Interstellar), tell me that it wouldn't be a masterpiece.
