For those of us around the world who like a free show and men marching in kilts, "The Funeral Of The Century" is live on Youtube. ITV, BBC, and Sky at least have free live coverage.

They're just warning up now, dignitaries entering Westminster, first bands in insane costumes marching around outside...

It's funny, I didn't watch it all - just dipped in and out several times during the days - but I find part of me is glad it's done whilst another part wants to watch a little bit more.
I wonder if they'll provide the same coverage for the Coronation? I suspect not and to be honest I'm not sure I'd be so interested anyway.

Even for people who don't like pageantry and spectacle, there hasn't been such a coronation for 70-odd years and it has tremendous rarity value. The funeral was a hell of a spectacle, but the coronation will be 100x more of one, what with every monarch and aristocrat on the planet breaking out the ceremonial crowns, ermines, and family diamonds, and the Princess of Wales outdoing them all by any means necessary. I'll sure as hell watch, even though I think Charles is a twat.
