She had the hit single 'Stumblin' In' in '79

They just played it on the Golden Oldies show. For some reason I was thinking it was earlier than that.

Yeah, I remember that. She was supposed to be the socially acceptable Patti Smith I guess. I don't remember anything else she did, though the article said she was popular in Europe.

As far as I know living in Europe back then, Suzie Quatro was far more popular in Europe than Patti Smith who was practically unknown, or too underground figure, at least in Slavic countries under the Soviet regime.
